Safety is our top priority!  You can never have too many questions concerning safety, education, or the athlete’s experience. We are here to answer all of them!

Listed below are some common questions asked by parents and guardians of attendees. If you are unable to find an answer to a particular question you may have, please feel free to call us at 781-727-2644, send an e-mail to, or communicate with us using our contact page.

A. Five Star Flag Football cost $325 per session per child.


A.  Upon program cancellation, Five Star Flag Football, in its sole and absolute discretion, elect to either not issue any refunds, or reschedule the Event. Upon the cancellation of the entire program, including, but not limited to events not within Five Star Flag Football’s control, governmental acts, acts of God, riots, production delays, strikes, natural disasters, inclement weather (regardless of severity), or inaccessibility or unavailability of the Venue, Five Star Flag Football may, in its sole and absolute discretion elect to either, (a) postpone the Event for a future date and/or (c) offer Purchaser a comparable “make good.”  Under no circumstances shall Purchaser be entitled to any type of refund or exchange due to weather or governmental acts.  If Five Star Flag Football elects to reschedule the program for a future date, Purchaser shall not be entitled to a refund. All payments are final.  There shall be no refunds.  This program is “Rain or Shine”.

While Five Star Flag Football tries to balance providing sufficient notice of cancellation and not canceling a program prematurely, Five Star Flag Football reserves the right to cancel such program due to circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If Five Star Flag Football must cancel a program due to an event outside of our control, participation fees will not be refunded. In this instance, participants are able to put this cost towards another Five Star Flag Football Program.  Participants will have one calendar year to apply their participation fee towards another program.  All payments are final. A. Yes. We are happy to put children together based on group requests. 

Fulfilling the group requests is a time consuming and tedious process.  We make every effort to satisfy all requests. 

We also want the teams to be fair, and sometimes adjustments have to be made.  Please know that we will do everything we can to satisfy your group request.  We want every children to have a blast!

A. Five Star Flag Football is the best summer sports program in New England.  Our strong affiliation with NFL Flag assures that our program provides the summer experience of a lifetime.  Each child receives an official NFL Flag football jersey and flag.  We have the best facilities in New England.  Our program is hosted on Gordan Field at Brandeis University.  The synthetic field is state-of-the-art and is similar to the fields played on by your child’s favorite NFL player.  In the event of unfavorable weather conditions, we are able to run the program inside the beautiful Gosman Athletic Center.  Most summer programs are unable to provide attendees with a rainout facility, and no one has a facility as nice as Five Star’s.  Our staff is comprised of experienced coaches, former professional, All-American, and standout high school athletes.  The program utilizes teaching and coaching techniques developed to improve skills and knowledge of the game.


A. Children will learn the proper fundamentals of the game.  They will develop a greater understanding of how to become a better teammate and player.  This will lead to athletes having increased self-confidence and competitiveness.  Children learn by practicing specifically designed drills in a fun and instructive flag football environment.  We will improve skills in the areas of passing, catching, kicking, speed, and agility.


A. Our program provides first class flag football instruction to both boys and girls aged 6-14 who enjoy playing flag football, are interested in learning the game, and want to get better on a local team. Our coaches are experienced in teaching all age groups and skill levels.


A. Each child will receive an official NFL flag jersey with a real NFL team logo.  In addition, attendees will receive a flag which they will keep.  The fee also includes use of the state-of-the- art facilities at Brandeis University.


A. Many of our campers have EpiPens.  If your child has an EpiPen, please notify us on the registration form.  You can also e-mail or call us to let us know.  The EpiPens are stored in cool conditions with our athletic trainer who is stationed in the middle of camp activities.  We employ walkie talkie systems and our athletic trainer is always close by.

We prefer that parents leave EpiPens with us for the entire duration of camp, but understand if you need to drop it off and pick it up each day.

A. Your child will need proper athletic shoes and exercise apparel.  Shorts and t-shirts are appropriate.  It is a good idea to pack your child an extra change of clothes.  You will need to provide your child with a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.  Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refrigerators, so we ask that you pack accordingly. One of the most important things that we ask your child to bring is an open mind and a willingness to learn.  We want our attendees to be enthusiastic about attending our program!


A. No, Five Star Flag Football are day programs which run from 9:00am to 3:00pm.


A. Children are separated into different groups by age and skill level.  It is possible that sometimes there will be competitions or drills in which older kids are playing with younger kids.


A. Please notify us on the registration form about any known medical conditions your child has.  This information is recorded and stored in our medical binder.  The medical binder is kept on the field with our athletic trainer at all times.

Nut Free

Five Star Flag Football has strict rules. Here are a few examples:

  • We are nut free!  Please do not allow your child to bring anything containing nuts.
  • Children are not allowed to leave the field without a coach or staff member.  If a child needs to use the restroom or visit the concession stand, they are required to notify their counselor and use the “buddy system”.   Under no circumstances are children allowed to leave the Gordon Field of the Gosman Athletic Center unless there is written permission from parents or guardians and it is coordinated with our staff ahead of time.
  • Children who need to use the restroom must go with another child as a “buddy”, and they must inform a staff member.
  • We make sure that two counselors are present whenever there are personal issues with a child.
